Oscar Dillard (President/ Founder)

Coach Oscar Dillard has been recognized by coaches and athletes on all levels as the world’s leading Football Camp Director. Coach Dillard is an authority on developing and mentoring youth league, high school, college, and professional athletes throughout their amateur and professional playing careers. He has been coaching for over 30 years. Notable alumni include: Cam Newton, Jamal Lewis, Calvin Johnson, Sean Jones, Keyaron Fox, Adam “Pac Man” Jones, Ahmad Carroll, Chance Warmack and numerous others.

Dillard has been recognized by the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Casa Magazine Santa Barbara, California, Gwinnett Life Magazine, Prep Star Magazine, FCA Share the Victory Magazine, Birmingham News, NFLPA, and retired Sports Director Bill Hartman of WGATV, Channel 5.

Dillard was mentored by several notable Hall of Fame coaches including: Bobby Bowden of Florida State University, Jimmy Johnson of the Miami Dolphins, Mark Richt of the University of Georgia, and Dr. Fitz Hill of San Jose State University.

Throughout his coaching career, Dillard has coached over 500 football alumni who have received college football scholarships, and over 90 players who have entered the NFL and CFL.

Dillard is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from Frederick Douglass High School and Morehouse College in Atlanta. He received his B.S. degree in Health and Physical Education from Morehouse College. During his athletic career, he was known for his winning presence and passion for football. He was selected as a Frederick Douglass High School Hall of Fame member in academics and sports. During high school, his teams played in 3 championship games, and he later won the SIAC Championship at Morehouse College during the 1979­-1980 season.

During the summers of 1990-2004, Coach Dillard started working at the Florida State Football Camp under legendary Coach Bobby Bowden. In the summer of 2005, Coach Dillard conducted a combine and training session in California for youth males ranging from ages 6-18. Vincent Armenta, Tribal Chairman for the Chumash Indians, was impressed with the quality of training, and he saw inherent value and promise for the youth. In 2006, the program was expanded to Atlanta, Georgia, and it held sessions in Fulton, Gwinnett, and Dekalb County. From 2006-2009, the Oscar Dillard Football Academy partnered with 20 active and retired NFL players. The organization, life skills, and quality of training within the program caught the attention of several active NFL players. Some of the players that took interest in the camp included: Calvin Johnson (Detroit Lions), Charles Grant (New Orleans Saints), Chauncey Davis and Ovie Muugheli (Atlanta Falcons), Thomas Davis (Carolina Panthers), James Butler (St. Louis Rams), Ed Reed and Evan Oglesby (Baltimore Ravens), and retired NFL player Greg Bell (Los Angeles Rams).

In 2009, Dillard was hired by the U.S. Army to organize their All­-American football games. After a year, he got hired away by the Semper Fidelis All-­American Football Program to direct their bowl games. Other companies, such as Football University and Sports Links, utilized him as their regional camp director of Alabama, Georgia and the Southern Region. 

Football University has trained more than 4,000 of the nation’s top youth and prep athletes. In 2010, Oscar Dillard was hired by Junior Rank Sports as the national camp director. Junior Rank Sports partnered with the U.S. Marine Corp and hosted 30 camps around the country. In 2011 and 2013, Coach Dillard directed the football camps of two Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year finalists: Madieu Williams and Thomas Davis. 

While he was coaching at Westlake High School, the NFL recognized the football program for having the most players on active NFL rosters in 2005­-2006. Coach Dillard has been certified by the NFL & NFLPA to direct football camps for active and retired NFL players. Dillard was also selected among 100 minority coaches across the nation to attend the Black Coaches Association and the Football Coaching Excellence Clinic. The Football Coaching Excellence Clinic was held at the Miami Dolphins Training Center under the training of legendary NFL head coach, Jimmy Johnson.

Oscar has been married to Marie “Cookie” Dillard for 36 years. They have a daughter named Courtney and a son named Ryan.

Ryan Dillard (V.P. Business Development)

Ryan Dillard is in his 4th season with the 49ers, currently serving as the Coordinator for 49ers PREP (Youth Football Department). As a former student-athlete, he has a passion for working with kids and serving the community. Dillard interned for a year with the 49ers before they brought him on full time. In his role, he is responsible for coaching, teaching, and coordinating programmatic development of various youth sports programs, services and high school engagement initiatives within the organization. He oversees several of 49ers PREP’s key programs such as the Junior Training Camps, Fun Runs, High School Skills Camps, and 3-Day Youth Football Camps. 

Dillard is an Atlanta, GA native, and an alumnus of the University of Southern California. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Communication while balancing academics and football. 

Off the field, Dillard maximized his opportunities on campus, serving in several leadership roles such as the Trojan Athletic Senate, Athletes in Action, and Black Alumni Association. On the field, he became a stand out walk-on, serving most of his time as a reserve cornerback and playing various special teams. All of his hard work on and off the field earned him many notable honors such as the Clay Matthews Walk-On Award, Joe Collins Walk-On Award, and PAC-12 All-Academic Second Team. Dillard uses his story to inspire the youth and showcase that anything is possible through hard work and dedication.

Dillard has been named the Vice President of Business Development for GamePlan 4 Life. In his role, he will manage social media, organize football camps and speak to youth groups.
